Cliche Superbowl Blog

The week after the Super Bowl is always filled with chatter about the hysterical commercials, entertaining halftime shows, oh, and I guess the game. As cliche as Super Bowl talk is, this year's halftime show is still stuck in my mind. Replaying over and over again. Although as the image continues to play, my eyes often cringe as Fergie sings and tries to hit the notes that she obviously CANNOT. As for the random Slash appearance, that was a temprorary save, and the rest of the members of the Black Eyed Pees should be commended on their performance. However, when Usher took the stage, it blew every single performer out of the water. The whole half time show would've been better if it was him alone! The colorful suited dancers were a nice touch, and helped the show go from a solid six, to a seven. All in all, the halftime show was a fairly good one, aside from the lack of talent in live singing that Fergie possesed. The show brought a new found energy for the rest of the game.
